Our Counsellors

We have given a brief overview of each Counsellor so you can decide who you feel would be best for you.  However, if you are still uncertain, contact Jane and we can discuss how we can help.

Our Counsellors are fully qualified, insured and are DBS/CRB checked.  We are BACP registered and maintain professional standards  with regular clinical supervision, continued professional development, and adhere to the BACP ethical framework for the Counselling Professions.

Jane Heeley

janeheeley counsellorI am an experienced BACP registered counsellor, and have been working with clients for 11 years, both in a voluntary capacity and in private practice.  I work from a predominantly person centred approach with clients of all ages and with a variety of issues.  I have experience working with counselling trainees and am now available to other counsellors for clinical supervision, offering concessional fees for student counsellors.

I offer one-to-one counselling at The Retreat as well as Nature Therapy – a counselling session that takes place outdoors, walking and talking, surrounded by nature.  During your initial session, we will explore your reasons for coming into counselling and what to expect from your sessions.  There is also a small amount of admin to complete.

Please click on my Counselling Directory Page for more information about my counselling service.

I now offer counselling supervision, reflecting on practice from a predominantly person centred approach.  I offer low cost supervision to student/newly qualified counsellors, and for those working solely in a voluntary capacity.  I am currently offering a limited number of places available at a fee of £30 for 1.5hrs*.  Please contact me if you would like further details or to book an initial session.
